Donations of used/new Christmas Cards - One Off

Recycle your used or new Christmas Cards by donating them to. 

Help use reduce waste and spread joy by recycling used Christmas cards to us, so we can turn them into gift tags! 

How it works:

1. Collect your cards: Gather any used/new Christmas cards from this holiday season (or previous ones), cut off the side with the message in. We only need the picture (front) of the card.

2. Drop off to us at Portsmouth Central Library or post to us. 

3. A team of volunteers will recycle and repurpose the pictures on the cards. You can also do this yourself and send in your completed gift tags.

- Reduce Waste: Give your cards a second life instead of sending them to landfills. 

- Spread Cheer: Your donation helps us create handmade gift tags, and fundraise for the Volunteer Centre.  

- Support sustainability: Every card counts towards a greener planet.

Process:

You will need an account to register your interest for this role. Once you have registered your interest you will receive an automatic email with next steps. If you have not received this in a couple of hours, please do get in touch as it may not have registered (volunteering@hiveportsmouth.org.uk). 

You will need to respond to the "Criteria Check" email to progress with this role. 

Please check your junk email folder in case any emails end up there.  Friendly reminder that the charities/organisations emails may end up here too.
