About us
Every day, the Mary Rose Museum receives hundreds of visitors. To make their visit as enjoyable as possible, we need passionate people of all ages to share their knowledge of Tudor history and our collection. Are you one of them?
The role
As a member of our enthusiastic team of Mary Rose volunteers, you will support our visitor experience by delivering family activities and workshops, based in our Learning Centre.
When?
We ask you can spare your time, one weekend a month and during school holidays ( Either half a day or a whole day).
Not suitable for under 18s
Skills
- You should have an interest in working with children and young people
- You must have the enthusiasm for engaging with with others
- You will have the confidence to talk to family groups and to supervise fun, hands on craft activities
- knowledge of Tudor history and our collection
