• A good communicator who enjoys helping others learn new skills?
• Confident working with people one-to-one or in small groups?

If so, why not become a Digital Champion with Hive Portsmouth?

In today's world, digital skills are essential — they help people save time and money, stay connected, and access vital information. Yet, millions of people in the UK have never been online.

As a Digital Champion, you’ll support others to get the most out of being online.

You might:

• Show someone how to search the web using Google
• Help set up an email account
• Support someone in using the internet to find health or care information
• Explain basic digital terms and internet jargon

In return, you’ll receive:

• Opportunities to grow your own digital skills and confidence
• Support from a friendly community of fellow Digital Champions

Process:

You will need an account to register your interest for this role. Once you have registered your interest you will receive an automatic email with next steps. If you have not received this in a couple of hours, please do get in touch as it may not have registered (volunteering@hiveportsmouth.org.uk).
