one off / events / no commitment volunteering

We are creating a bank of volunteers who are on standby to help out both at times of great opportunity and at times of crisis. Opportunities to volunteer will come in the form of VIP visits, cultural festivals or similar events and celebrations that give us a chance to showcase all the good things happening within the City. 

Any opportunities will be one off events, which could include: 
Festivals
Carnivals
Painting decoration/ Work days

litter picks
Cultural events
Street Collection/Fundraising
Black History Month/Armed Forces Day
Sports Event/Fun Day
Awards ceremonies 
Youth Activities
Response to emergencies
Environmental/Conservation
Charity AGMs

They might be suitable for all ages, and all types of people, as well as groups of people (families etc) 

Your details will be added to our email list and we will contact you through email when an opportunity comes available. There is no requirement for you to do any of the opportunities, should you wish to do them all you need to do is respond to sign up to any you want to do. As easy as that! No DBS

Have a pleasant outgoing manner. Have the ability to work as part of a team. If your availability changes and you cannot attend an event, to inform the contact name you have been given as soon as possible.
