We are seeking Governors for our Local Governing Bodies in our Academies, mainly in the Bordon and Portsmouth areas. The Trust aims to add powerful momentum to the progress of its family of academies through a shared aspirational vision and inclusive ethos, where pupil progress and development of outstanding teachers are at the heart of its work. The Trust’s approach is that all academies are different and can take different routes on their journey to excellence.
About the Organisation:
The Trust is uniquely placed to make a difference to the local education landscape. With 16 academies and a SCITT in its education family, based in Hampshire, Portsmouth and West Sussex, the Trust has responsibility for almost 900 employees, educating 5,764 children. We are a single entity that educates its pupils across different school and community-based sites. There is no separation between what is our Trust and each of the academies that make the Trust family.
Process:
You will need an account to register your interest for this role. Once you have registered your interest you will receive an automatic email with next steps. If you have not received this in a couple of hours, please do get in touch as it may not have registered (volunteering@hiveportsmouth.org.uk).
You will need to respond to the "Criteria Check" email to progress with this role.
Please check your junk email folder in case any emails end up there. Friendly reminder that the charities/organisations emails may end up here too.
Don't forget you can add up any volunteering hours as part of Team 100 Opportunity - Hive Portsmouth or part of the Donate 100 things challenge Opportunity - Hive Portsmouth.

We are looking to appoint individuals who can bring vision, passion and experience to our Local Governing Bodies. We place the greatest emphasis on a passion for education and an eagerness to support the development of the Trust.
