As the Social Media Volunteer you will be responsible for creating, scheduling, and publishing engaging content across the organisation’s social media platforms, including Facebook, TikTok, X, and Instagram. The role involves developing posts that promote oral history projects, events, volunteering opportunities, and community activities, helping to raise awareness and increase audience engagement.
This is a flexible remote volunteering role, with support and guidance provided by the Oral History Manager. Volunteers will have opportunities to contribute ideas, develop digital marketing skills, and help shape the organisation’s online presence. While the role can be carried out entirely remotely, there is also the option to work occasionally alongside the Oral History Manager at Central Library or Carnegie Library for those who would prefer a more collaborative, in-person experience.
