This will be carried out over the two weeks of the remembrance period, helping at manned stalls / partnered up with another member of the team and a collection box and tin collecting donations for the Poppy Appeal. The volunteers specify what times / days / locations they are available for and a rota will be provided.
Our Poppy team are a great bunch, and many friendships have been formed through the years. We are always eager to expand our 'poppy family'.
Manned stalls include most supermarkets, and a market stall within commercial road (Thurs - sat).
Collectors licence will be provided.
Please be warned, this is a very rewarding role. You will need to be a 'people person', and prepared to listen to many stories from veterans / families.
