Support & Wellbeing Group Volunteer for Trans+ Charity

Volunteers needed to assist at a wellbeing peer support group for Trans+ Charity. Are you a passionate supporter of the trans+ community? Whether you’re trans+ or cis, part of the queer community or a straight ally, Beyond Reflections would love to have you join our team of dedicated volunteers.

Our in person, wellbeing groups offer a supportive environment for trans, non-binary and questioning members who are experiencing similar situations. Participants can share their experiences, gain peer support and find comfort in a non-judgmental setting.

Working with a more experienced group leader you would assist with the general running of the group, listening to members concerns and celebrating their victories, helping them gain perspective, build resilience, and reach a point where they no longer need our support. It will enable you to build your confidence and increase your skills in active listening and empathic response.

About the organisation

Beyond Reflections are a charity supporting trans, non-binary and questioning adults, as well as their friends, families and allies. Located in Southampton we provide in person services throughout Hampshire and Dorset and online services which can be accessed throughout England & Wales.

We provide support in the form of face-to-face and online support groups, counselling, wellbeing drop-ins, and third-party hate-crime victim support.
