Charity Shop Assistant

We are looking for volunteers who are wanting to brush up existing skills or learn new skills within our projects Charity Shop in Kingston Road. We encourage a friendly place to shop and are adding a lounge in April that will be selling refreshments etc to all our local customers and those who just need a break! We are only a small team but help so many people from different walks of life.

About the organisation:

We are a small local registered charity working with many service providers to ensure residents taking on a new tenancy or are experiencing financial difficulties have access to good clean serviceable second hand furniture and household items.

Applicants must be friendly and offer a welcome to all of our customers.

No previous retail skills are needed as we will offer training on all aspects needed.

Applicants must be able to carry out tasks alone and as part of a team.

We can help build confidence and broaden existing knowledge whilst encouraging new ideas that people can bring.
