Volunteering Ambassadors

We are seeking Volunteer ambassadors to help raise awareness of volunteering and local charities by:

• Attending events to talk about the volunteering
• Encouraging others to get involved
• Sharing their passion and enthusiasm
• Giving talks
• Representing the Volunteer Centre or other local charities at local community events 

Ideally you would be able to commit to at least two events a year. Shifts are usually 2-3hrs depending. Some examples of events are: volunteering fairs, stalls at the community days…

It would be beneficial if you have previously used our website to gain a volunteer placement at one or more organisations.  

Skills

Good people skills, outgoing personality

Must be over 18 years of age

For volunteer fairs etc

Reliable

Quick thinking - can react and change to various situations

Able to provide a references
