Corporate Fundraising Volunteer

As a Corporate Fundraising Volunteer, you’ll support the Corporate Engagement Lead with day-to-day tasks that help build and maintain relationships with local businesses and supporters. This is a varied and flexible role ideal for someone with good communication and organisational skills who enjoys working as part of a friendly team.

About the organisation:

Rowan's Hospice is a charity providing free care and support to adults in our community who have a life-limiting illness and their families.

Many people think that hospices are all about dying. But through our many different services, we support people to live as well as they can with their illness. From the moment of diagnosis through to bereavement support.

Skills

The majority of the role will be office-based at the Hospice, so confidence using computers and Microsoft Office programs (such as Outlook, Word and Excel) is a must. You’ll gain valuable experience in charity fundraising, communications, and event support, and help raise vital income for local Hospice care.

Experience with databases would be an absolute essential.
