A care home in Portsmouth is seeking volunteers to assist with a variety of activities for their residents.
Activities include chair exercises, baking, arts and crafts, and more. Volunteers will support the activities manager by helping run these sessions and encouraging residents to participate.
No prior experience is required—just a positive attitude and a willingness to make these activities enjoyable and inclusive for the residents.
As part of the application process, you will complete online training and undergo a DBS check.
References:
Professional references can be from a current or past employer, someone you have worked with or volunteered with, or from an education setting such as a teacher. They must have known you for at least two years.
Character references must be from someone who knows you well on a personal level. It can be a friend, or someone you work with, volunteer with etc. It cannot be a family member. They must have known you personally for at least two years.
Process:
