Volunteer Bingo Assistant

You will be part of the team at Fratton Community Centre, the Community Centre serving the Fratton neighbourhood. The Centre is managed by Fratton Community Association and is a registered charity.


You will be required to work Friday mornings, 10.45am to 12.45pm. You will assist us in managing the bingo game experience by facilitating the smooth operation of the session. Greeting players, assisting them with finding seats, explaining game rules, and generally ensuring they have a positive and enjoyable experience.


DUTIES TO INCLUDE:

▪ Preparation and close down of room for Bingo session as required.
▪ Selling bingo cards and sometimes refreshments. This involves accurately handling cash 
transactions and accounting for funds at the end of the shift.
▪ Monitoring game progress, verifying claims to ensure they are valid and checking back numbers 
to the bingo caller.
▪ Processing winning pay-outs accurately and in a timely manner
▪ Ensuring the area is kept clean and tidy and emergency cleaning undertaken as required.
