General Activity Support Volunteers

Our day centre in Southsea provides opportunities for people with learning disabilities to experience activities that not only improve their health and wellbeing, but also help to build confidence and develop valuable life skills which promote greater independence.

We are now seeking new volunteers to help our staff team run a busy timetable of activity sessions to best support their interest and hobbies. These may include: *healthy eating and cookery *fitness, music and dance *woodwork and craft *games and sports *communication and IT skills *general wellbeing

With your support and encouragement, you can help the people we support to participate in active, healthy and enjoyable activities whilst also meeting new people, having fun and knowing that you are making a massive difference to someone’s life!
