The Sustainable Conservation Trust (SCT) is seeking an Executive Director to help lead our mission of preserving heritage and inspiring communities.
As Executive Director, you will work closely with the Artistic Director and the core management team to steer SCT’s strategic vision and ensure operational excellence. Supported by the Operations Lead, who oversees day-to-day project delivery and financial management, you will focus on:
• Strategic planning and organisational leadership.
• Supporting the delivery of creative and community-led projects.
• Collaborating with the Artistic Director to align SCT’s creative and operational goals.
Responsibilities:
• Work in partnership with the Artistic Director to manage SCT’s growth and impact.
• Engaging with the Board of Non-Executive Directors at quarterly meetings and leveraging their expertise for individual projects when needed.
• Provide oversight of operational, financial, and strategic initiatives.
• Build and maintain relationships with funders, partners, and stakeholders.
• Represent SCT in public forums and advocate for its mission and values.
• Support the core management team in achieving organisational goals.

A non-profit organisation dedicated to the preservation and use of historic structures. The SCT’s aim is for every vacant or underused asset within the historic built environment to be meaningfully preserved through sustainable, productive reuse.
