About the organisation

Portsmouth Carers Service provides a one-stop-shop for people caring for or looking after someone in Portsmouth (postcodes PO1 to PO6). The support each carer needs is unique to them, so we tailor our support to meet their individual needs – we listen and ask: how can we help?

Some carers just need a bit of emotional support, someone to talk to or someone to listen. Others need help getting a break or looking after their own wellbeing. If the carer needs something specific like help with benefits or money advice, we will always signpost them to the local service that specialises in that area. If we don’t know the answer to a question, we will do our best to find out.

  • Friendly, approachable, and confident in engaging with the public.
