Art and creative volunteer

MAKE@Aldingbourne is a unique project in Fratton, Portsmouth, and a proud part of the Aldingbourne Trust. We support adults with learning disabilities and autism, helping them gain skills for independent living, employment, and community involvement. To support the art team by offering support to adults with learning disabilities to complete creative tasks. Sometimes maybe asked to hold a creative workshop for a group of adults with learning disabilities.

Our project features a café, charity shop, creative arts studio, and hosts various community events. We also run other projects in Portsmouth, including GIG Buddies, Dynamite, and a new café at the John Pound Centre. MAKE is a place to connect, learn, and grow—a true Community of Place and People.

Process:
