Connors Toy Libraries are looking for volunteers to support at our Toy Library sessions across the City.
We run Community Toy Library sessions Monday to Friday across all areas of the City and we are looking for volunteers to support with
*setting up
*welcoming families
*running the session
*preparing refreshments
*craft activities
*tidying away
*singing to finish.
The volunteering role is for 3 hours and you can volunteer at which ever session is closest of most convenient for you.
We provide training in safeguarding, manual handling, food and hygiene and paediatric first aid.
About the organisation
Connors Toy Library supports families with children with additional needs to access the toy library to borrow specialist toys and resources to support their child's learning and development. Families can access toy library sessions, a safe and enjoyable place for families to meet, make new friends, gain peer support, borrow toys and resources and bring their children together to play. There is also a mobile toy library and outreach project.

Availability Details
The volunteering role is for 3 hours and you can volunteer at which ever session is closest of most convenient for you. We run session across PO1 to PO6 areas, Monday to Friday throughout term time. We ask if there is a day they would prefer to volunteer on or whether they would like to volunteer within their local area. Sessions run 9.15/9.30 until 11.15/11.30 and 1.00 until 2.45 pm. We do ask that volunteers are available before and after session times to help set up and pack away.
