About the organisation
At Red Squirrel OT CIC, our mission is to compassionately support individuals facing hoarding challenges by delivering tailored occupational therapy interventions. We are dedicated to understanding and addressing the unique emotional, physical and mental health needs behind hoarding behaviour, emphasising personal empowerment and decision-making. Our approach goes beyond temporary fixes, focusing on sustainable living space adaptations and continuous support. Through education and advocacy, we strive to combat societal misunderstanding and stigma, fostering inclusive and supportive environments. Our goal is to enhance the well-being, autonomy, and dignity of those we serve, creating a path to lasting change and improved quality of life.
