One off - BBQ volunteer needed - 11th June

Portsmouth Rotary Housing Association (PRHA) is hosting their annual garden party on 11th June, and they’re looking for a few extra hands to help make the day a success for their 70–80 residents.

We are currently seeking one additional volunteer to take the lead on the BBQ.

Ideally, the volunteer will:

  • Have previous BBQ experience
  • Feel confident operating a charcoal BBQ independently on the day, with support from another volunteer

The event will take place from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM, with BBQ duties required approximately between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM.

We are pleased to offer full funding for a Level 2 Food Hygiene course for the volunteer.


* Travel expenses covered
* On-site parking available
* Lunch and drinks provided on the day
* A voucher provided as a gesture of goodwill
* Costs for completing a Level 2 Food Hygiene Course will also be covered
