Fundraising volunteer

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Fundraising Volunteer to join us at Havelock Community Centre, located in the heart of Southsea.

As a charity-run community centre, we depend on the generosity of our supporters to keep the centre running. Whether it's covering day-to-day expenses, funding maintenance, organising events, or purchasing essential items, every donation makes a difference. Your support will help us continue to provide a space for the community to connect, grow, and thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

- Organise and run fundraising events such as quiz nights, craft events, music events, and more within the community centre.

- Attend Havelock Events, including table tops community fairs, and markets, where you could fundraise with ideas such as crafts, bake sales, games and raffles.

- Support and encourage others in your local network to volunteer and participate in events or donations.

- Work closely with the Centre Manager to plan and arrange fundraisers.

Welcome to the Havelock Community Centre, a friendly centre situated in Fawcett Road Southsea.

We have a year round programme of activities with a variety of regular groups and one-off events for all ages, as well as trips and social events.
