As a Read Easy Coordinator you would be meeting and enrolling adults who want to learn to read and interviewing volunteer Reading Coaches with a member of the Management Team. You would then pair them up and offer ongoing support throughout their reading journey, visiting their reading sessions occasionally and maintaining support through regular calls with both Reader and Coach to check all is going well.
About the organisation
Read Easy is a not-for-profit organisation that recruits, trains and supports volunteers to give one-to-one tuition to adults who struggle with reading.
Don't forget you can add up any volunteering hours as part of Team 100 Opportunity - Hive Portsmouth or part of the Donate 100 things challenge Opportunity - Hive Portsmouth.
