Admin and events volunteer

Portsmouth Volunteer Centre  is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated volunteers to join our team as Admin and research volunteers. We help volunteers find placements through our website and personal support via emails, telephone enquiries and volunteering drop-in sessions. 

We are in need of volunteers to help manage the Volunteer Centre by conducting research tasks and supporting the volunteer drop in sessions. The research will mostly involve searching the internet for the information and then compiling it into a document for us. Such as finding new volunteering opportunities, researching charity days and more.  

Key Responsibilities include:

• public facing volunteer advisor - supporting people interested in volunteering by matching them to organisations. 
• research admin to support charitable campaigns 
• Assist with general administrative tasks to support the smooth running of our operations
• to be able to assist community events that match availability
