Overall Goal – to encourage more people to get involved in volunteering of any kind, by completing 100 hours in the year 2026 as part of Portsmouth Centenary Celebrations.

2. Encourage your volunteers to sign up (as individuals, a team or both!).

What it involves:
– Working alongside us to promote the Team 100
– Allowing us to promote your volunteering roles as part of the Team 100 opportunities
– Working with us to create new micro volunteering roles that could work for your organisation. Such as sharing your social media during themed days, donating items, you may need, doing one offs and much more!
– Providing us with updates on how things are going with anything relating to Team 100.
– Encouraging your volunteers to sign up.

Encourage your volunteers to sign up:
What it involves:
– Volunteers sign up to complete 100 hours of volunteering in 2026
– This can include their regular volunteer hours
– Volunteering can be done at home, online or in the community
– They can join as an individual or a team (families, schools, groups, organisations)
– All ages welcome
– They log hours on the website (try and do after you completed a task, or at least monthly)

– Receive certificates & milestones celebrations
– Get a monthly newsletter with updated information regarding Team 100 and new volunteering opportunities
– Get to meet new like-minded people and join in with this Portsmouth Milestone
– League table to track hours
