Thursday 5th March 2026 – World Book Day
Where : 20 - 30 volunteers needed at Portsmouth Football Club
Timings : 9.30 - 10.30am Young peoples transport arrivals and enter stadium
Welcome in the stadium: 10.45am
Entertainment and the lesson 10.50 - 11.35
Finishes: 12 Noon
Young People Depart 12- 12.30
Volunteers Needed For the Following:
Guiding young people from buses/coaches
Guiding young people and school staff into the stadium
Guiding young people and school staff to the nearest toilets.
Post event:
Guiding young people and school staff out of the stadium and to their pick up points.
Skills
- Minimum age 18 years
- Available to volunteer on the 5th March 2026 9am - 1pm
- Able to work in a fast paced environment
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- Happy to chat with the public
- Able to provide an emergency reference
