Knit or Crochet Scarves, Gloves and Mittens

What we do 

Every donation you send makes a  huge difference to the lives of internally displaced people, or to children in our hospitals. We regularly transport the knitted and crocheted clothing Items to Syria where they are distributed according to seasonal need.

How to get involved: We are looking for Crochet and Knitters to make scarves, gloves and mittens for children in Syria. These items will be distributed to areas most in need. Feel free to knit or crochet in any colours you like. All items should be in a brand-new unworn condition. Please ensure no loose strings or pieces could be a hazard to young children. Once you have made items please drop them into the Volunteering desk at Portsmouth Central Library, where we will donate items in bulk on your behalf. Alternatively you can post them directly.
