Event Fundraiser

Attending and organising events not only helps raise money for Dreams Come True but it also raises much needed awareness for the charity. You can make a huge impact to the charity by organising and attending events in your local area.

We are putting together some new an exciting volunteer groups to help promote and fundraise. As the Events Fundraiser, you will help the local group to plan and organise awareness and fundraising events int he local community. 

This may include:

    Planning an annual programme of awareness raising and fund raising events.

    Research events that are happening in the local area that we could attend.

    Organising local events to raise funds and awareness of our charity.

    Liaising with the Community Fundraiser to ensure you have all the resources needed for the events.

    Establish contacts and generate networking opportunities within the community. 

    Assist with events and third party enquiries.

Enthusiasm, Good Communication and Organisational skills.

There will be a full induction, mandatory training which will include Health and Safety, GDPR, Safeguarding and also additional training to help develop your skills so you get the most our of volunteering for dreams.

Availability Details

The time commitment for this opportunity will be on an events basis. Volunteers will be able to apply for the events they wish to be involved in. This is a flexible opportunity that can be fitted around work, studies and social life.
