The Business Development Manager will proactively seek opportunities to expand the reach of St Bernard Support. They will act to market the activities of St Bernard Support with GPs, hospitals, hospices, pharmacies and other organisations. The role will also involve contacting potential sponsors to encourage them to support the work of the charity.
About St Bernard Support
St Bernard Support is a registered charity that provides help to people affected by life limiting illnesses like cancer and heart disease. Our principal focus is providing information to enhance the financial well-being of people affected by life limiting illnesses. We do this through seminars and the webinars our charity organises. Additionally our charity provides one to one support via telephone or in person. We also work with other charities and organisations in providing our services to people affected by life limiting illnesses.
Skills
We are looking for an individual (or individuals) with excellent communication and negotiating skills. Past experience in a similar role would be ideal but not essential
