As a coach with Beyond Boundaries you will be assigned a group of members to build a rewarding relationship with based on trust, empathy and understanding. We will train you in our empathy-based approach, which emphasises the importance of listening to the needs of our members before offering support.
We aim to maintain consistent contact with our members throughout the current lock down. These support calls are a service that provide connection to our current workshops and online services available to our members.
BB volunteers provide emphatic listening telephone support to our members across B&S services. This is a working from home remote volunteering opportunity.
Volunteers build trusting relationships that are vital for breaking isolation but also responding to practical needs, referring to our casework and advocacy teams.
This role provides a unique opportunity to gain frontline work experience and develop skills which would support applications for careers in psychology and social work.

BB volunteers provide emphatic listening support to our members across B&S services. After an initial induction training, you’ll be connected with a call group of members with whom you’ll establish a regular connection.
We are seeking individuals with previous experience of providing listening support or coaching ideally. If you have experience and interest in psychology, social work, health & well-being this voluntary role could be a great fit.
