We are looking for friendly, compassionate people to visit socially isolated people in the Portsmouth area.
To offer companionship to people who are unable to get out and have few visitors.
This is a short term befriending role, helping someone out for a set amount of time. For example it might be supporting someone for a couple weeks to get used to going back outside again after the covid pandemic.
Skills
Good listening and communication skills
Able to travel around Portsmouth.
Friendly attitude and non-judgemental.
ID checks, references and Criminal check will need to be carried out
