We are looking for friendly, compassionate people to visit socially isolated people in the Portsmouth area.
To offer companionship to people who are unable to get out and have few visitors. This could be short term support to a person or longer befriending role depending on each person.
This opportunity is available to younger people if accompanied by a parent/guardian
Skills
Good listening and communication skills
Able to travel around Portsmouth.
Friendly attitude and non-judgemental.
ID checks, references and Criminal check will need to be carried out
