BUILDING A STRONGER BRITAIN TOGETHER FUNDING EVENT – PORTSMOUTH

The Building a Stronger Britain Together funding is about to open for a 3rd time providing an exciting opportunities for charities,
community and voluntary organisations in Portsmouth to apply for this funding.  We would like to invite you to come along and learn more about this opportunity.

The Building a Stronger Britain Together programme (BSBT) is a Home Office funded initiative and is part of the governments Counter Extremism Stratgey.  The BSBT programmes outcomes are to achieve:

• fewer people holding attitudes, beliefs and feelings that oppose shared values;
• an increased sense of belonging and civic participation at the local level;
• more resilient communities.

This event will give attendees the opportunity to hear about the current BSBT funded project in the Portsmouth area and to hear from a representative from the Home Office regarding the bids they are hoping to receive.  There will be the chance for attendees to ask questions following the presentations as well as to network with other attendees.  Tea and Coffee will be provided
