A fortnight of fun activities and events are on offer as Portsmouth’s popular 60+ Festival gets underway from Monday, and there are still spaces on many of the activities available.

The Portsmouth City Council run festival takes place from Monday 3 October until Friday 14 October and anyone 60 years of age and older can take advantage of a variety of activities ranging from bingo to ballroom, from computing to karate, and from song writing to Zumba.

With lots of activities to choose from, the festival provides an exciting opportunity for anyone wanting to try something a bit different, learn new skills or meet new people and most of the activities and events are free.

Festival brochures can be picked up from many city locations including: libraries, community centres, the Civic Offices and Portsmouth Guildhall.

The brochure is also available online and places can be registered via Eventbrite.
